My Top 5 Instagram Profiles
I love Instagram. Out of all the apps I have on my phone it is my 'go to one' to pass time, to get inspired and to get new ideas on style, interiors, recipes and life. I probably go on it a tad too much and follow 1028 Instagrammers with only 379 followers myself. I post about everything and my profile is a random collection of pictures from my life (@bluesky_rachi) and I am not stylish with my posts like the 5 instagrammers below. They have all managed to create such fluid profiles. Profiles were each post compliments the next one and they all work together to show such flair and creativity.

The first thing that drew me to Lucie's account was her fringe. I am a huge fan of the very short, blunt fringe and she inspired me to cut mine back in again. Lucie's posts are mainly of her looking effortlessly glamorous in very cool and hip locations in Berlin. Her makeup is always on point and so is her style. It appears that she is a fan of the slouchy jumper (that I only wish I could pull off), the top knot bun and her intricate tattoos on her arms. I don't think there is anything wrong in following an account on the sole basis that you admire a persons look. She has a kooky feel to her posts which is something I have never been able to crack.
Who doesn't follow Kate La Vie? She is the only instagrammer I have searched for on Youtube and watched her Vlogs! Kate lives in a swish flat in Edinburgh with her coffee loving fella and her two cats, Mouse and Tiny Tim. Her posts are chic, gold, white and pink. Her style is effortless. Kate is also a fan of the instagram story function and I love her videos of Tiny Tim and Mouse up to mischief! Her flat is the stuff interior dreams are made of with marble work surfaces in the kitchen, a robust looking coffee machine, house plants gracing every shelf, sheepskin cushions and gold accessories. Plus her cocktail posts are divine, clearly a woman after my own heart. Kate hits the nail on the head with how she presents her posts too. A photo of a single cup of coffee will be adorned with fresh peony stems, a pair of spectacles, a gold tray and a candle. Her recent travels to the Bahamas inspired me to plan a hot holiday this year and she recently eloped with her love @jordansbeers in New York. Their wedding video had me in tears and I don't even know them (it will do the same to you- watch it here!) Their is a genuine honesty about Kate and her life that I love and this makes it so easy to feel like you know her through her posts.

I follow Erica because of her love of cats, plants, food and her flippy, short bob she wears. Her posts are of art, landscapes, travel, food, her cats and her tatts! Her profile has bohemian vibes and a relaxed feel. Scrolling through her photos makes me feel happy and inspired to be with nature. From what I can tell she has a 3 gorgeous moggies and a beau with a fantastic moustache. I haven't been following her for too long but I know I like her story.
Taking a different theme to the previous instagrammers Julie posts about her 'Wayward Hens and Eggs in Peril'. Her posts show her menagerie of animals, her beautiful family and the beautiful setting that is her homestead. The doe eyes of their calf called Edie, their fluffy goslings Louis-Serena-Sam-Beaver and their flock of sheep, Eugenia, Bunny, Olive, Dahlov and many more feathery, fluffy and hairy characters are definitely something to put a smile on your face.
I have only been following Megs for a couple of weeks but what made me was her firey locks and unique style. A life and style that doesn't follow the rules. Bright clothes, red lips and big eyebrows all of which inspire me to quirk up my own style. She does have her own Youtube channel as well which I am yet to watch but that will change soon. I love her confidence and her down to earth attitude. I am always excited to see what she will post next!
