A Fresh New Blog, Zero Ideas

I have always loved the idea of being a blogger. Being able to rock up to a trendy little coffee shop armed with a laptop and some kooky glasses on your nose. Being able to write interesting posts about travel, interior design, makeup, fashion and art. Being worldly and knowledgeable and able to fill a blog with worthwhile posts. I am not like this. I used to blog 2 years ago about inane rubbish and entitled the blog eccentric ramblings of Rach. The posts were good, funny but slowly they turned into posts of a desperate nature. Desperate to be funny, quirky and novel. Needless to say I forgot to post and slowly the blog became a snapshot of an inexperienced 22 year old who was trying too hard. This blog is a chance to start a fresh and create posts that are honest. Posts that reflect my true thoughts and feelings and I promise that if I don't have anything to say I won't post anything. You probably won't hear from me a right lot, ha-ha.
Enough to ramblings (I am doing it again) Here is a snapshot into me...
•Rachel Amanda born 5th September 1992, a hairy baby all red and screwed up.
•I grew up in a village called Elswick in Lancashire with my mum, dad, older sister, our rabbit Jasper (RIP) fish, Sharkey and Bubbles (RIP) our tabby cat, Teabag (RIP) hamsters, Basil and Mandy (RIP) and our gorgeous boy kitty, George who is currently 14 years old.
•I went to school, high school, college and then did my Level 3 NVQ in Business and Administration at Myerscough College.
•I have been a Baker, a waitress, a receptionist, a IT Assistant, a Apprentice, a Corporate services administrator and I am now working at a private school as the School Secretary.
•I have a partner called Alex and we live together in Blackburn (as of December 16) He is the love of my life.
•We are parents to 2 Shubumpkin Fish called Moiran and Armitage Shanks, 3 Giant African Land Snales called Captain Holt, Usain Bolt and their love child Lettuce and our little ginger alien, our cat Pippin named after the infamous Hobbit, Peregrin Took.
•I recently became a beaver leader and Alex is a scout leader, we are called Chill and Rann from The Jungle Book and are the only 2 named Kites mentioned in the text.
•I love rejigging our house and 'staging' it as if it was on the front cover of an interior design magazine.
•I love walking and go to the gym to keep fit and to drop the podge I put on since leaving home. "No parents...I will eat everything in sight" attitude.
•I love eating and drinking strong flavours. I love strong coffee, olives, Avocados, Steak and my favourite drink would be red wine or whiskey and ginger. Great taste and sounds cool when ordering at the bar.
•I love spending my time in Manchester or places of astounding views like the lakes but for places closer to home, my bed will do or my garden.
